Course on Systematic Reviews

Kurs og kompetanseutvikling for helsepersonell , 06.09.2018-07.09.2018

A interactive course on the practical aspects of systematic reviews.

The course builds on similar courses that Professor Mike Clarke has run dozens of times in the UK and Ireland since 2001, and his very popular but intensive 5-day module on the University of Oxford's international MSc in Evidence Based Health Care, which he started approximately 15 years ago. The course will provide learning and practical experience for many aspects of systematic reviewing, including question formulation, setting the eligibility criteria, searching and critical appraisal of studies, data extraction, analysis, and reporting. Examples used to illustrate the key steps will be relevant to the participants, who should leave the course with much greater ability to use systematic reviews for decision making and more confidence in their ability to conduct a systematic.
