Welcome to beautiful Tromsø city and to the land of the midnight sun! The focus of the conference is interdisciplinary approach to specialized care in incontinence and pelvic floor disorders, involving several fields such as urology, gynecology, gastroenterology, physiotherapy and nursing.

Day 1: Updates on conservative and surgical treatment
Day 2: Interdisciplinary approach to chronic pelvic pain

Registration

Conference fee

  • Participation both days:
    Early bird: NOK 3000 - registration until January 31st 2019
    Late: NOK 3500 - registration after February 1st 2019   
  • Participation one day:
    Early bird: NOK 2300 - registration until January 31st 2019
    Late: NOK 2800 - registration after February 1st 2019
  • Special fee for basic students (ex; medicine, nursing and physiotherapy):
    Participation one day: NOK 1100
    Participation both days: NOK 1400
  • Conference dinner:   
    May 27th at the Scandic Ishavshotel restaurant, Panorama: NOK 615.

The conference fee for the APFM-meeting includes:

  • Social “get together” including finger food. Sunday evening at 7PM, at the Scandic Ishavshotel. Remember to sign up for this, in the registration form.    
  • Coffee breaks and lunch Monday and Tuesday.

The conference takes place at Scandic Ishavshotel, in the heart of Tromsø city. Stay in the “Paris of the North” with a view over Tromsø harbor. From the hotel location, you can spot the Arctic Cathedral (Ishavskatedralen) and the cable car up to the mountain ledge Storsteinen, Tromsø’s most popular tourist destination where you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of Tromsø and the surrounding mountains, 421 m above sea level.

Conference dinner

The conference dinner is at the Scandic Ishavshotel restaurant Panorama, to the cost of 615 NOK. Registration is done separately in the main registration link.

Abstract

We are happy to announce that among accepted abstracts, four will be selected for oral presentations and the rest will be shown as e-posters during the conference.  
We accept abstracts within these topics:

  • Urinary incontinence
  • Anal incontinence
  • Interdisciplinary approach to incontinence and pelvic floor problems
  • Advanced pelvic floor surgery
  • Chronic pelvic pain

Guidelines for abstract submission:

  • Abstract must be written in English
  • Abstract should not be longer than 350 words
  •  Abstract must be composed with Microsoft Word with Arial size 12
  • Please write corresponding author and person who will present
  • Any revision tracking features must be turned off/removed in your original documents before pasting into the form
  • One images, figures, graphs or table can be included in the abstrac
  • Abstracts must use the subtitles given within the blank abstract form:

Exhibition

It is with great pleasure we invite exhibitors to the 5th Arctic Pelvic Floor Meeting in Tromsø, 27th – 28th of May 2019. The focus of the meeting is interdisciplinary approach to specialized care in incontinence and pelvic floor disorders, involving several fields such as urology, gynecology, gastroenterology, physiotherapy and nursing. The meeting therefore provides a unique opportunity to reach a powerful and enthusiastic group searching to gain new knowledge and to be introduced to new and innovative solutions. The lectures are in English and we are announcing the conference both nationally and internationally.

Exhibition area is located near the lecture hall. We will provide infrastructure and logistics ensuring solid visitation from the delegates.
Price: 7000 NOK.

Advertising place includes:

  • Registration for one person
  • Exhibition Monday and Tuesday including coffee breaks and lunch
  • Tables (120x45cm or double tables 120x90cm, according to your needs)
  • White tablecloths and power connector

Registration of more exhibitors is done separately to the cost of 1400 NOK per person, for both days.
Participation to the conference dinner is done separately to the cost of 615 NOK.
